The Project

As an experienced Civil Site Manager, you will manage the Civil subcontractors on a Solar farm project in Hull.

Requirements

For this role, it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum:

• First Aid
• CSCS Card
• SMSTS

It is essential that you hold the skills & experience below:

• Experience as a Site Manager working on Civils projects (5+ years)
• Experience managing structural steel works is a bonus

The Role

• Job Title: Site Manager
• Location: Hull
• Duration: 3-5 Months
• Reporting to: Project Manager

Duties

• Responsible for quality of works on site
• Maintaining Health & Safety standards on site
• Attending and participating in project meetings
• Producing RAMS and briefing the workforce to ensure understanding
• Managing the workforce in the delivery of complex civil works
• Ensuring work is completed on time and within budget
• Completing construction phase plans, environmental plans, ITPs, and quality plans
• Liaising with project stakeholders and client personnel as required
• Managing and ordering resources and materials at each stage of the project
• Managing subcontractors to ensure the programme of works is completed
• Planning, coordinating, and motivating effective deployment of personnel and resources
• Updating weekly progress on site programme and drawings & sharing with project/contract managers
• Promoting and implementing site-specific management plans to ensure compliance with company policies
