Maths Teacher job in Leicester – Maternity Cover!
Maths Teacher – West Leicestershire Secondary School
- Start date: August 2025
- End date: 1-year maternity contract
- Subject: Maths at KS3 & KS4
- Timetable: Full Time
- Delivering engaging and Maths to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
- Contributing to the development of the department’s curriculum.
- Participating in extracurricular activities such as sports clubs and school trips.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Maths or related field
- Recent experience teaching Maths at secondary school level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
We are working in partnership with an Ofsted ‘Good’ Secondary school in West Leicestershire who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher. This is a full-time and long-term position to cover maternity leave. To be successful, you will be a qualified Maths Teacher with recent experience teaching across Key Stage 3 and 4.Job Description
