We build: You will be part of an engineering team supporting a major German media network. The team develops a multi-purpose subscription & payment service, crucial for multiple client products. Our architecture is microservice-based, ensuring scalability and rapid feature development, utilizing AWS Serverless solutions like Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, AppSync, API Gateway, and infrastructure as code with Serverless Framework. We maintain 100% unit test coverage, and as a QA engineer, you will handle end-to-end and performance testing.

Being part of the team:

• Investigate product quality and suggest improvements.
• Develop tools and processes for thorough testing and rapid deployment.
• Create, write, and execute automation and manual tests for our web platform.
• Drive quality improvements in an agile, continuous learning environment.

Power you bring:

• At least 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience testing APIs without frontend.
• Willingness to share testing expertise with the development team.
• Agile mindset, structured work style, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English skills (C1); German is a plus.

Preferable:

• Understanding of BDD beyond just writing tests.
• Experience in web test automation using TS, JS.
• Familiarity with Playwright or Cypress.
• Experience with AWS.
• Experience testing distributed architectures.
