Renowned for its outstanding academic achievements, the college has consistently been the top-performing sixth form college in London for A-level results over the past two decades.
With nearly 30 years of excellence in education, the college offers a rigorous academic program within an informal and friendly learning environment. They provide a range of GCSE and A-level courses tailored to meet the individual needs of their students. Their small class sizes, averaging seven students, allow for personalized attention and support. In 2024, 55% of their students achieved A*/A grades, and 81% secured A*-B grades.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive mathematics instruction across GCSE and A-level curricula.
- Foster a supportive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the mathematics department and contribute to the college's overall academic success.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and enrichment programs to support student growth beyond the classroom.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience teaching mathematics at the GCSE and A-levels, with a track record of achieving excellent student outcomes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
