The Opportunity
A dynamic and respected broking house is expanding its footprint across Scotland and looking to appoint a Regional Commercial Broker to work with key corporate clients across its growing network of offices.
As part of a national broking function, you’ll play a pivotal technical role, placing and servicing complex commercial programmes, contributing to placement strategy, and influencing teams across multiple sites.

Your Role – Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value commercial and corporate clients across a regional footprint.
- Take ownership of technical placement for complex risks across property, casualty, and associated lines.
- Work closely with insurers and market contacts to ensure optimal cover and pricing.
- Collaborate with account executives and handlers to shape placement strategy and client service delivery.
- Act as a regional technical point of contact across multiple Scottish offices.
- Mentor and guide handling teams on more complex broking matters.
- Ensure client retention through exceptional service and technical insight.
- Contribute to wider broking and business development initiatives at national level.

What You’ll Need to Bring
- Proven experience in commercial insurance broking, ideally with exposure to large or corporate client accounts
- Strong technical knowledge of P&C lines (property, liability, motor, business interruption, etc.)
- Ability to manage complex risks and advise clients with confidence
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with clients and insurers
- A collaborative mindset – able to work effectively across functions and geographies
- A full, clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel across regional offices as required
