Front End Engineer II, FinCommon, Communications Team
We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced and motivated Front End Engineer to join our cross-functional team of software engineers, product managers, UX and data engineers to help drive our vision of building an integrated and scalable solution for our Finance community. As a team, we are always looking for ways to drive innovation within the Finance community through automation and building self-service solutions for our customers. This role is for you if you have a passion for continuously improving customer experience, are motivated by challenging problems in developing and scaling highly responsive customer-facing applications, and love writing great code.
Key Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Help define front-end architectures, own and implement specific components, and help shape the overall user experience.
- Maintain and raise the technical bar across all software development, particularly around front-end work as you work to help foster a front-end engineering community.
- Collaborate closely with UX Designers, Product Managers, and generalist Software Development Engineers on the same team to help deliver the product.
- Contribute to planning, design, implementation, testing, operations, and process improvement as a member of an autonomous team.
- Take responsibility for technical problem-solving, creatively meeting product goals, and developing best practices.
- Design and develop React-based web applications and leverage component libraries such as MUI.
- Write high-quality, efficient, testable code in React JS.
- Coach and mentor peers who share a common passion for front-end work but may have little to no experience in its development.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 2+ years of agile software development methodology experience– Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React– Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node
