The Vacancy

EDP, part of RSK Group, is seeking an experienced Asbestos Consultant to join our successful and expanding national asbestos team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in the Midlands and requires travel to clients. We welcome applications from Asbestos Surveyors / Analysts seeking the next step in their career.

Responsibilities

  • Undertaking building surveys and bulk sampling.
  • Carrying out asbestos air monitoring including the issuing of Certificate of Re-occupation and Statement of Cleanliness.
  • Advise clients on legal requirements, regulations, and industry standards related to asbestos management.
  • Preparing accurate reports and plans of your work in standard formats.
  • Maintaining and building on good relationships with clients.
  • Timely completion of monthly quality requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12 Months related work within UKAS accredited organisation.
  • P402, P403, P404 modules or equivalent or P402 and willing to train into P403 and P404.
  • Competent and confident user of MS office packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Organised and proactive, with the ability to multi-task.
  • Full UK drivers licence.

Salary And Benefits

  • Full time, permanent position, 37.5 hours per week plus paid overtime (when required).
  • Salary up to £38,000 + Car Allowance.
  • Annual leave allowance of 33 days including public holidays.
