The Vacancy
EDP, part of RSK Group, is seeking an experienced Asbestos Consultant to join our successful and expanding national asbestos team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in the Midlands and requires travel to clients. We welcome applications from Asbestos Surveyors / Analysts seeking the next step in their career.
Responsibilities
- Undertaking building surveys and bulk sampling.
- Carrying out asbestos air monitoring including the issuing of Certificate of Re-occupation and Statement of Cleanliness.
- Advise clients on legal requirements, regulations, and industry standards related to asbestos management.
- Preparing accurate reports and plans of your work in standard formats.
- Maintaining and building on good relationships with clients.
- Timely completion of monthly quality requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 Months related work within UKAS accredited organisation.
- P402, P403, P404 modules or equivalent or P402 and willing to train into P403 and P404.
- Competent and confident user of MS office packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Organised and proactive, with the ability to multi-task.
- Full UK drivers licence.
Salary And Benefits
- Full time, permanent position, 37.5 hours per week plus paid overtime (when required).
- Salary up to £38,000 + Car Allowance.
